Pam grew up mostly in Katy, Texas but has called Dallas home for 7 years now. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University. When Pam was in college, she had the opportunity to be a summer camp counselor at Pine Cove Christian Camps in Tyler, Texas. Pam was a 6th grade teacher for 3 years. It was with her experience as a camp counselor and teacher that grew her interest in helping children through counseling.  She obtained a master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Texas. She has served as a school counselor for 3 years in a local public school district. 
Pam has provided therapy to individuals of all ages through her experience at the UNT Counseling and Human Development Center in addition to her counseling work in the schools. She values each individual and their desire to grow through a therapeutic relationship. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral therapy skills as well as other forms of treatment based on an individuals’ age and development. She enjoys continuing her education through attending workshops and seminars such as the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, University of North Texas Center for Play Therapy conference, and Ultimate Leadership workshop with Dr. Cloud and Dr. Townsend.
Pam loves to spend time with her friends, family, husband and nieces and nephews. She is involved with her church and values the relationships in her community. She enjoys exercise in any form; from yoga to running ½ marathons, weight-lifting to dancing.  Pam and her husband appreciate the adventure traveling the world together and embracing other cultures.
