Professionally, Dr. Magee has worked extensively with children and their families, including children who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Dr. Magee has been fortunate to have a variety of experiences serving individuals in the following settings: local community mental health centers, a university based psychology clinic, various residential facilities, public school districts, and a children’s hospital. Dr. Magee is especially passionate about providing the latest evidence-based treatments in mental health. Her specific areas of interest include providing parent training to parents of children with disruptive behavior and providing cognitive behavioral therapy to children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and mood disorders. In addition, Dr. Magee has training and experience in providing assessment of autism spectrum disorders using gold standard measures such as the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule). Personally, Dr. Magee is excited to be back in Texas so that she can spend quality time with her family and friends. She loves exploring new places, so she is also excited about being in Dallas and the opportunity to discover all that it has to offer!
