Catherine is originally from Houston, Texas, but has called Dallas home for several years now. She graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from Houston Baptist University and later went on to receive her Masters in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.
Catherine has a special heart for those dealing with depression, anxiety and perfectionism. Based on her own experiences, she is able to empathize with the struggles related to self-doubt and insecurity that so many face today. Catherine was blessed with strong mentor and therapeutic relationships that encouraged and equipped her to overcome longstanding fears. She now finds much joy in living out her whole-hearted desire to encourage and equip others. She believes insight and acceptance are key components to experiencing full healing and freedom, and is humbled by the opportunity to help others find hope for positive change.
For fun, Catherine enjoys traveling (especially internationally!), reading at cozy cafés/coffee shops, and quality time with friends and loved ones. She also loves music. If there is one thing she could change about herself…it would be her ability to sing! Catherine is an active member at her church. She is also an active member in the Tourette Syndrome Association, and is thankful to be able to give back.
