Pre-Crisis Intervention

Intervention occurs at the very first sign of concern before reaching a crisis point. The family or parental concerns may be about a loved ones behavior in regards to substance use or food manipulation, hoarding or obsession. This service involves information gathering from a variety of sources including but not limited to : family history, parental and/or caregiver consultation, individual history, collaboration with therapist (past and present), physicians, school, mentors or siblings.

From the information gathered, the therapist will provide recommendations to BOTH the individual and the family as to the next best steps.
